should i go to mediation

Has anybody had any experience with court mediation.
I have been served with a Notice of Proposed allocation to the small claims court.
I presume that I have a choice between mediation and court.
Also is there a way to get any evidence from the parking company has for there claim against me.
the claim against me is from 2015.

It would be imossible if everyone simply started a new thread with each development
