GE Money - loan could have been sold via another company

We took out a £20,000 over 180 months, from GE Money, which from what I can gather, was via igroup. The copy of the agreement we have is dated 23rd April 2008. The loan agreement form ias the igroup logo on it.
We have written to GE Money asking if PPI was attached to this loan and they have replied stating that "PPI is held on the account belonging to the named account holder" and showing
Insurer - GE Financial Insurance
Policy number - xxx
PPI Premium - £59.74
Loan Originator - GE Money Home Lending Limited
Loan Owner - GE Money Home Lending Limited
I have read a few posts/threads which would seem to imply that GE Money rarely, if ever, pay out on PPI claims.
I do remember the salesperson coming to our home to complete this loan application, and I'm certain that he said that we really did need to take this PPI. It was only sold in my husband's name not mine, although it was a joint loan.
Is it worth pursing this, do you think?
I've had a look on the FCA website and there is a link to a complaint form on the GE Money website, but darned if I can find it by following the link!

A good number of theirs were put in place by brokers. hence they why do not need to consider the complaint.0
