Had a mortgage with RBS 2001 arranged through an independent financial adviser who told us we had to take out Ppi or the mortgage would not be offered . It took 4 or 5 months as my hubby had to have a medical . We paid £144 a month for 8 years and when my husband was laid off - he was a sub contractor he didn't get anything , he was classed as self employed.were we mis sold and if we were who do we claim to please.
