Haha, yes. That's all logged.
Actually only amounts to around 300.
It only includes work done and is very honest.
Wish I could add for stress and inconvenience caused.
I will look into when is best to send this in.
Many thanks.:D0 -
File (with the court) and serve (on the claimant) your Costs Schedule with your Witness Statement etc.0

Wow.
Got their bundle today, minus WS, which is to follow.
I cannot believe that they have a photo of the same sign as I do, the sign is faded and you cannot even see the 'P'
But noooooo, cannot be, their photo shows a perfect square box, nice and bright green too!!!!
Its a small low res photo but I can see it's been photoshopped.
Isn't this illegal?0 -
You'll need a Judge to confirm that, not a parking forum. But you'll get your chance by building it into your Witness Statement. Its a small low res photo but I can see it's been photoshopped.
Isn't this illegal? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Their green P box looks like it overlaps the text on the sign. Also doesn't even look like its set at the same angle as the sign.0

Where is that, and does Google Streetview back up your version?
If so, print off some proof from Google and take that with you and have a field day exposing what looks like a photoshopped sign...
Hope you put in your costs schedule with your hours spent on this, as surely this is unreasonable conduct.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hmm, looks like they have a very old street view picture and zoomed in.
Google street view is glitchy anyway so... dead end I guess.0 -
Good morning all,
My court case was yesterday at 10am so here is a brief account of what happened....
I parked up and lost 2.50 on the parking machine (LOL) so already had to pay £5 to park for a few hours.
got through the doors at 9:45, through the metal detector and up to 2nd floor. Seating area was empty.
I was about to flick through paperwork when I was called up just before 10am.
Just me and DJ Brown, she explained that claimant put in writing to go ahead without them and this was Ok as per section something or other.
All was very calm and polite, didn't get the chance to address her as madam as it seemed more like a casual convo!
Firstly she asked where on the map I had parked, I mentioned just above the blue 'x' on the map to which she said "oh, my map is black and white" both laughed and explained via my exhibit photo.
She then explained there is no proof they have given me grace period as the two photos were seconds apart.
Bit of paperwork shuffling between us, she then said she is going to dismiss the case due to not receiving claimants operating license, think she mentioned it may have expired.
Also said about abuse of process as they were asking for too much, also mentioned the site where I had stopped not being marked correctly.
Pretty much all of my defence points, t's a shame I missed out their license expiry on my defence, if that was the case!!
She then went to costs, asked what I'd spent coming here, tried my schedule (£333) but she explained that rarely get's given, can't quite remember her words.
Told her about the £5 parking which she gave, and also told her I had half a day from my rate of £200 a day.
She gave me the maximum loss of earnings which was £95. Total £100 to be paid in 14 days.
Explained to me that they could appeal but she very much doubts they will.
She then said thank you for coming and mentioned my paperwork all being in order.
Said our goodbyes etc.... out of the room at 10:07am! (jumping for joy inside)
Let's call that an easy win!!
Thank you all so much for your help, could not of done it without you.
