    Yes
Certificate received a few weeks after completion, and they checked key stages along the way including fire doors, linked alarms through house etc.

Loft cant be advertised as rooms without the correct paperwork.

Once you get the drawings done you will will get a better idea of height but I was amazed at how much more we had that I thought we would get.
  • Without looking at the job it depends on the floor timbers and roof spars incase they need upgrading for insulation and strength purposes but if we could look at the job we could tell you what height you would get . email me on exciteloftconversions@outlook.com if you would like to no more thanks

I'm bungalow hunting, so see a lot with "loft room" and a lot with a proper extension. In the main, in my price bracket, I feel I'm paying for "a bad job done, that I don't need".

When buying somebody else's loft extension it probably doesn't fit your needs/requirements, so is more easily dismissed by a potential purchaser.

Bearing in mind that if you have the work done you will probably "expect" at least what it's cost you to be added to the value, you might find what you're building will just not be "up to scratch" for others... so, proceed with caution and ask yourself if you're trying to "add value", or whether you need this space yourself, at that cost.
