Hi, just wanted a bit of advice on my rights.
I signed up for a broadband and phone line deal from BT in March and as part of the deal I was sent a Samsung tablet which has now stopped working. It developed a charging problem yesterday and was getting hot near the charging point. I turned it off when it was at about 45% charged and when I tried it again later, it had dropped to 15%. I turned it off again and now it won't turn on. Sorry for rambling but I just wanted to show that it is a physical problem rather than a technical one that I'm too stupid to sort out.
I had a live chat on the BT site, and the person or chat bot I spoke to, said I should contact Samsung. I said that my contract was with BT and therefore BT are obliged to fix it under consumer law. Was I right?
I,m so stupid that I forgot the mnemonic
