Our en suite bathroom doesn't have a window and is no problem, we had to have a fan in there though. It's more or less in the middle of our downstairs.

We lived in a basic 2 up, 2 down terrace with an internal bathroom for 13 years - couple and 2 young children so lots of baths/showers. The extractor worked when the lights were turned on and ran on afterwards. No problems at all, although the subsequent owners sacrificed a bedroom to install a bathroom with a window.

Thank you for the suggestion! Do you have a google link? I wonder how much that would roughly cost. A couple users above suggested a roof window which apparently can work with a loft above too which sounds like the best solution. Now to find some quotes! :):)

'Fraid it was on a Pinterest page that came through to me of loft conversion rooms and I've deleted it since checking it out.

I can't believe that not having a window needs to affect value at all in this century.
I'm sure you're right, but I still like to have the window wide open at this time of year and hear the birds singing etc, first thing. :)
