I wonder what happened to mr Simon Kirby? He appears to have been the guy who promoted these AIM stuff and then left SVS before the ship got scuttled.
Ah, someone else who had the misfortune to be subjected to the 'advice' of Mr Simon Kirby?! I rue the day I ever spoke to him. He decimated my investment portfolio and the only consolation was that I was awarded a substantial compensation payment by the Financial Ombudsman Service in respect of his actions - despite this I still reckon I ended up out of pocket. I consider myself very lucky that I wrestled the compensation payment out of SVS 3 months before they were closed down!

  • Many, many thanks to all the contributors to this thread. I have felt overwhelmed and stressed by the whole fiasco but, the advice here has been invaluable.
Finally, after many unanswered emails and useless phone calls, my shares have been transferred. Phew!
All I need to do now, is to ensure that my account at ITI is closed, I have no intention of paying any custody fees as, strangely, my dashboard is still showing my shares.  I have emailed account management instructing them to close the account. Do I need to do anything else please?

Three 5 star reviews for ITI Capital were posted yesterday on Trustpilot by 3 people for whom it is apparently their first Trustpilot review - quite literally unbelievable.  This is surely a scam by a company who continue to prove that they cannot be trusted.
How does "the service I have received has been phenomenal" sound?  Another statement which makes my blood boil is "The platform is slick, insightful and easy to use."
We all know that their service is zero star.
  • maybe they've shoved enough money in to become a valued customer (i.e. not one thats requesting a transfer) and is a managed account in the hands of a broker....

Nothing is ever that straightforward with ITI (see my comment on previous page) - I've sent no end of emails requesting (almost begging) ITI to close down our 4 accounts, two of which still show the shares that we transferred to iWeb in December.  I actually managed to speak with someone back in October who assured me that he would instigate closure of the two accounts which had transferred, and true to his word the status on both accounts are showing 'clousre in progress' but it is only the defunct ISA accounts and not the Phoenix accounts which are shutting down. To be honest it is doing my head in but I don't know what else I can do - on the bright side you cannot be charged custody fees if there is no money in the account.....or can you!! I was asked to complete bank details for the closure of our joint account but that didn't rest well with me so I replied that we had signed a request to close the account and that should be sufficient - still waiting to hear back on that one.  Anyway I share your relief for finally getting out of this mess.  If you hear back from Account Management please let us know on the forum.

I'm quite happy to give ITI a review on Trustpilot (and have done). Just keep adding poor reviews. They are NOT going to get away with this!

I know somebody who worked at ITI for a number of years (and at former incarnation Walbrook) and he says he has never heard of the 'long term client' who posted on Trust Pilot. Quite clearly fake reviews
  • Hi all, I am still trying get get ITI to increase the 100 pounds compensation they offered 3 months ago.   I am waiting for our old friends at Fin Ombudsman FOS to move things along.      Has anyone else had success in getting more than 100 from ITI ?
