2 approaches to the ITI problem1. My ex wife gives consent to post her recent email :"Hi James I have had a long chat with someone at IWeb. The ISA shares are in the IWeb account and apparently, the cash will follow. The chap I spoke to knew about the problems at ITI and IWeb now have a team working on the transfers. He was quite sympathetic with the team at ITI saying there were only around 10**of them and they are completely over whelmed and that they had been dropped in it by the management. With regard to the Share dealing account, they had asked (via computer I suspect) numerous times for the valuation, but had still not heard anything. Given that the ISA took 3 months to transfer, I suspect the share dealing account will take as long. I think that we should wait until after Christmas before we really get worked up. [!!!!!!!!! Jamesram] As the chap said, there is nothing that can be done, a team of 10 doing what they can with thousands and thousands of dissatisfied investors all trying to get their money out – it is what nervous breakdowns are made of on both sides!"Note ** I have checked with her-the 10 staff referred to are the entire team overall (say iWeb)- not the Transfers team. Although they probably do need at least 10 staff dealing just with Transfers and Account Reconcilations to make progress. Also, the "thousands and thousands... trying to get their money out" are her words, not iWeb's - but she is probably quite right. So that's the voice of reason and acceptance- she must be practising mindfulness and yoga or something.I have gone for a rather different approach:.2. Sue the b**ggers! I have issued a Money Claim Online for judgment in the princely sum of my £243.31 SLA dividend, plus £25 court fee, PLUS 69 pence interest to date, and counting! ITI have until 2 November to respond- what are the odds do you think? Will I be hearing from Sue, Grabbit and Runne LLP, or will ITI cough up, or will they pay only the dividend, so we can go to a full court battle in my local county court (additional £25* "hearing fee"!) over the issue of £25 +£25* (plus 69p of course). OR,will they do absolutely naff all? Exciting stuff, eh? -watch this space.

After conversations with the Financial Ombudsman Service I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that they might be as bad as ITI.....
I submitted my email online complaint to the FOS 2 months ago. I phoned them yesterday after 8 weeks, went over the details with them on the phone. The agent said they would send some forms for me to "authorise" so that they could start proceedings and would I submit the complaint again....with any evidence - no problem, I said!.
They tried to send paperwork by email whilst I was still on the line to the FOS agent. They verfied my email address. The forms did not arrive. I was asked (whilst still on the phone) to email the agent using her email address which I did - the email arrived. She replied back (using email "reply"). So, this verified my email address and that they could send emails to me. I waited until after 5pm yesterday and then emailed her to say that the forms had not arrived. The forms hadn't arrived by this morning so I emailed the contact again. Still no response - so I phoned the FOS today just after 2pm.
I was told that the case had been "closed".....then I was told it had been moved on to a Marie Louise (which is it?). In addition, it seems that the whole process can take 6 months , which I had to clarify was 2 months from submission of complaint + 4 months.
Speaking with the person on the phone today it seemed to be that if the "emails don't arrive then there is not a lot they can do"...
("Computer say No"). No wonder people don't want to invest in Little Britain!

Filling in the FOS online form is easy. Note, to investigate a complain will cost ITI £650. That's why ITI have been offering £50/£100 sweetners (bribes) to various clients so they don't raise the issue with the FOS. However, is it worth £50 to put up with this level of poor service - I think not!I submitted my FOS complaint today, still waiting for complete access to my account gave up and started the process for transferring out around eight weeks back to another broker.

The recent BP (25/9), AVIVA (24/9) and Anglo-American (25/9) dividends are still missing from all of my accounts nearly 3 weeks after they were paid to ITI and cannot be seen on either ITI or HL systems, so they have just vanished into thin air.
Please can others confirm if they are in the same position or have they actually received these dividends?
Thanks
