  • Just find it perplexing that my portfolio is correct some days and then others a chunk of my holdings just disappear  
  • Right, in my dashboard it is showing that i am missing a chunk of holdings out my Qort account and the Phoenix one is empty. Log in to Phoenix platfrom and the missing holdings are there. Now, i used my account number on for Qort account for my shares to be transferred, is this now going to mean i will need submit another transfer request for those been moved over to Phoenix?

    If you are making a claim for money only, you can claim online at www.moneyclaim.gov.uk I haven't looked into this fully as I don't have a UK address and therefore I doubt that I can use the service. The maximum is £100,000. I'd say that if you'd asked ITI Capital to transfer cash out to your bank account and they had failed to do so without delay you could make a claim for loss of interest at the Statutory Rate which I think is still 8%. For commercial cases I think there is a fixed amount of £100 for compensation towards costs of making the claim. If a few are interested in this sort of approach it might be worth working together to make it easier for each to claim. The FSO will award compensation for Distress and Inconvenience but are likely to take the stance that we can move to another stockbroker free of charge and can (maybe) deal by phone so we have little to complain about!

    Please can you give me a detailed timeline of exactly what actions ITI have taken in reply to our requests to get the accounts transferred as I think we are nearing the point where they are exceeding the allowed timescale for actioning the transfers.
    If you can give me the contact details of the senior manager at HL who can provide Additional Support in pursing our case against ITI that would be very much appreciated.

    I received a message from HL this afternoon to say that ITI had acknowledged my transfer request and sent over a valuation. They couldn't give a timescale but at least progress is being made. I submitted my transfer request in early August.
    gibson81, shawdon, johnburman - from memory, I think we are all seeking to transfer away to HL. I was initially mildly disheartened to learn yesterday that iWeb and Jarvis (i think it was) had received acknowledgements from ITI with bulk valuation info while there was no news from HL. But, like you gibson81, I received a message from HL late last night saying that they received acknowledgement from ITI and bulk valuation information. My question for you gibson81 is whether you have been supplied with your own valuation info from HL or whether, like me, HL's message was actually a reference to bulk valuation info having been received (but no further details of your own account at this stage)?

    8010 gets you through to the ITI reception...not such a bad thing as the person on the other end actually seems to do what she says she will.

    I was in contact with IWEB , good news is they have received my valuations.
    Bad news is they are all wrong. My transfer valuations were from SC accounts , but only contained items that were left in SC accounts after the migration  to PX accounts.
    Is that delibrate?
    So what can we do , If we fill another Transfer request for PX account , then what guarantee  is that by the time ITI come to process them they would again  have moved to SC accounts or somewhere else.
    Also you cannot have one ISA account , if your SC account is  marked  as ISA then you can't have PX account as ISA with the same provider, can you?.
    I would expect this would be the case for all 250 valuations they sent to IWEB and also to other brokers.
    We are back to square one

  • Thanks, Nbs222, guess that answers my question from earlier. I wonder if they held the whole process up until the migration to the Phoenix accounts had taken place first ?
