My2penneth said:shiznit76 said:So should just need to say to new broker that i want all my holdings from account xxxx transferred over? I thought i read in a previous post that had to fill in a form for ITI, is that just to make withdrawals?
One I prepared earlier - page 170 of this forum.
(This is my completed iWeb form which says transfer "Everything from ITI to an iWeb account").
completed other than signed and my account numbers "redacted".
If you post today, it won't arrive at iWeb until tomorrow at best. iWeb won't immediately start to action the transfer. The whole process might take 4 to 6 weeks but with ITI involved...who knows.
I've transferred ISA's before to iWeb. Even simple cash ISAs (not shares) can take a few weeks to transfer.0 -
I have just tried to log in to check if they have now transferred my assets and got the message: "500 Internal error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."
Looks like their system has finally crashed.
I have also sent an enquiry to LC to find out if I can still reverse transfer and then out to my chosen broker. Still waiting for their response. I am now going to complete a transfer form with my new broker and see what happens.
We must remember that this is a 20 000 account problem, each one with additional queries and I expect a long wait ahead. In the meantime I fear another market crash and not being able to protect myself.0 -
@Danie6
If you are worried about a market crash then you must be considering selling up. The quickest way surely must be to allow ITI Crapital to complete on boarding ? A reverse transfer might take months based on previous speed of LC.0 -
If I can get on board I will do something for sure! I haven't got the on boarding email and my last communication with ITI was the Thursday apology. Deafening silence since. So far I have at least an account that I have opened last month in anticipation. They must now just load my stuff in it. If they do it and I can start trading there will be one problem less!0

ITi login working now.
Nothing more happened with my accounts.
'Take control of our investments' is ITI's slogan - if only I could!!0 -
I have just received a reply from ITI, this was in response to the e-mail that I sent yesterday, not the one that I sent 4 days ago. The person was very apologetic and says that there has been a large volume of people contacting them (I cannot believe that!). They have had a 'technical issue' which supposedly had now been rectified, anybody that has not received their log-in e-mail will receive it within the next 48 hours. I will not hold my breath.
