Parking fine - but didnt leave car?

Hi all,
I have received a parking fine.
Basically I had to attend for work to a customer address. He lives in a block of flats and i followed his directions on where to park.
I got their and the customer wasnt answering his phone. He gave me instructions where to go as he would open the shutters that leads to the underground car park. As i didnt want to cause obstruction just waiting by the shutters i therefore got worried drove bit further away, waited few minutes while being in the car, and than decided to drive off to kill some time. Turned out the customer was in a nother meeting and asked me to come back.
When i came back I then parked in the underground car park.
Little while later, i received a parking fine of £60 as when i drove up slightly when the car park shutter didnt open, it had a no entry sign with the usual parking condition, which i didnt see.
What are my options disputing the charge, as it was due to the situation i was in, that lead me to making this mistake. I also never left the car, , does that count? I was in the car during the duration of being in the unauthorised area.
i was there for a meeting.
Need some advice.
thanks.

It is unlikely that the scammer or their ATA will agree to cancel this so you will have to hope that a judge does.
All the information you need to fight this is set out in the stickies/FAQs.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
If this is a notice from a Private Parking Company then it isn't a fine.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

None of that rambling and frankly confusing explanation is of any use and will not help in the slightest.
It's not a fine it's an invoice, the fact the driver never left the car is irrelevant.
Which parking company is trying to scam you?0 -
Hi thanks for the replies.
Its a company called IpaymyPCN and their client is , one parking solution limited.
So am i better off just paying the £60 before its increased to £100.
Thanks.0 -
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your OP to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor this forum and can use posts in your thread against you in Court0 -
