Basically not usually, its up to you to send supporting evidence with your claim.0

Saw GP today, he was useless despite being my GP for nearly 35 years.
I'm taking strong painkillers for my condition, and in the last few months ulcers have appeared on my toes. He said I really shouldn't be on these for the ulcers and was gobsmacked when I told him why I was actually taking them. He had no idea.
What chance have I got when he may be asked to write in support of my DLA to PIP transfer?
My condition originated 40 years ago and he knew nothing about it.
Where does that leave me?0 -
Do you have other evidence? e.g hospital letters? if not all you can do is give as much relevant information as possible on the PIP form.0

I have got loads of supporting evidence and have just sent off for more, so if they don't contact my GP the evidence will verify all my health issues.
I will send it all with my PIP form.0 -
They contacted my support manager and asked her a few things, on that I wasn't called to a face to face and got awarded the award I wanted. For me the DLA - PIP transfer was a very easy process.0
