SPIF form and husband being unaware about a dispute with neighbors

Hi guys,
I have an interesting question. Me and my husband sold our house and he filled in the SPIF indicating that there are no disputes with the neighbours.
However, he doesn't know that I previously complained to the police as well as the council about the noise and the smell of cannabis when neighbours were having a party. He was sleeping when the incident occurred, I was angry and reported it but didn't tell him because I didn't want to worry him.
He is the sole owner of the house though. Can he get in trouble for this if the next owner experiences similar issues and finds out that I made a complaint?
I'm not sure what I should do in this situation since I had no idea they ask such questions and that it will ever be an issue... Therefore, I feel really bad that I didn't inform him..:(

I doubt a one-off complaint about a party really matters anyway. But technically he's in the clear if he didn't know about the complaint.0

The thing is, the neighbours were pretty bad to be honest, so I have a suspicion that the new owner will have problems at some point... Just my husband didn't care at all.
But technically it should be fine I guess, as long as it wasn't the house owner who complained?0 -

Your post seems full of holes. In your first sentence you said "me and my husband sold our house", that your husband was asleep throughout despite excessive noise from next door and you didn't tell him.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

Sorry about being unclear. I couldn't have sold the house because it is not on my name, I didn't pay the mortgage or anything like that. However, I lived there.
My husband was sleeping and it is impossible to hear anything in the bedroom where windows are closed. I was in the bathroom looking out of the window. Those neighbours also weren't next door neighbours and they were outside.0 -
I don’t believe the story so I doubt your buyer will either.0

Moot point as the buyer will never hear of the storyGather ye rosebuds while ye may0 -
Why is it so surprising that I didn’t tell him? In his opinion its really stupid to report neighbours and even though I expressed my annoyance a number if times, he told me not. But one night I was annoyed and reported them and didn’t tell him. Not all spouses agree on everything and share everything.0

So you could only hear the noise by hanging out the bathroom window but couldn't hear it from the bedroom, it can't have been that noisy.
Your story is unbelievable and not convincing at all.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

I hope for your sake your buyer's don't find out and sue you for everything you have, as the complainer is clearly related to the former owner of the property."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
