PPI claim on store card

Hi, I responded to an online ad re FREE PPI checks by Fast track claims. They did a check and said I was owed PPI. They sent paperwork out to me which I didn't fill in or return. Meanwhile Santander contacted me, I filled out 3 lots of forms (2 identical and one giving more information), they offered me compensation which I have accepted, have signed and returned paperwork a week ago. Today I received a letter from the claim firm asking me to sign and return enclosed paperwork. I phoned the company who said I would have to pay them a fee because as I hadn't responded to their previous letters asking me to sign paperwork they've"assumed" I wanted them to claim on my behalf. When I said I wouldn't be paying them anything they are now threatening me with debt collectors. Are they trying it on? Where do I go from here

First you'll have to make a written complaint to the firm detailing why you think they haven't been employed by you. You'll then have to allow them eight weeks to consider your complaint, after which you can refer your case to the Ombudsman if you haven't received a "full and final" response or if you are still not satisfied with any response they do give...Sloanranger wrote: »Where do I go from here
Don't forget to remind them that they are now fully regulated..0 -
