Not able to stop switch
I have just found out those 14 days cooling period are from the moment you request a switch and not from the moment you start being a client with your new provider.
I was having trouble cancelling my switch but have just learnt the above.
Tried to delete this post but apparently it is not possible?
In any case, I do not know why Tonik have such good reviews. Their CS is appalling.
Will try to find the relevant slot to comment on that.

So because of your own misunderstanding, and presumably failure to read and understand the terms and conditions of the contract you willingly entered into, it's somehow the supplier's fault? :cool:Cooling-Off Period
The period when You have the right to cancel the Contract without the switch to Tonik Energy going ahead. This must be done within 14 calendar days of the date on which the Contract was agreed between You and Us. The last date on which You can cancel the Contract will be set out in Your Welcome Pack0 -

Thanks Quentin,
I tried to do that, leaving the message blank, but it did not work.
Next time I will follow your advice.
As for you, DownCrush, If you had read my message properly you would have noticed I never blamed Tonik for my oversight regarding the cooling period.
No, my issues with them are different and I will elaborate in the proper thread. But it is depressing that people like you are so ready to pour scorn on others so casually and even have someone congratulating you for your clever ways.
Pitiful really.0 -
Nikiya, do you see the hypocrisy in what you just posted? You don’t come across well writing “people like you” when complaining about others pouring scorn on you.0
