I thought I asked this previously but can't find an answer when searching.
So, when I enlarge on Google maps the smaller roads and lanes in the countryside don't really stand out from the rest of the background.
What changes can I make to make them more visible.

The contrast on this page is very poor on my browser, Firefox.
Is it the same for others? It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
I can see the road highlighter, the contrast drops the closer you get. The further out, the better, until it dissapears in lieu of the larger roads.
Can you not just use the map mode which clearly shows the road?0 -
What's your definition of "poor contrast"? In Chrome the contrast is fine for me ... but perhaps I'm just used to how Google Maps looks. Post a screenshot of how it looks for you in Firefox?0

I use google maps for route planning, but bing maps allow access to ordnance survey for final destination/walks.0 -
