contacting British Gas from abroad

Hope someone can help. I live in Spain.
For the past 3 hours I've been trying to use the British Gas website to either email them with a query or to get their tel no so I can contact them from Spain, but the web site just keeps going down!!!
I've managed to find an 0845 number from another site, but they just keep you hanging on...not cheap for international call

Any numbers or email add would be appreciated as I have a billing enquiry on a house we used to own

Thanks terrlw1, perhaps it's a problem this end. Tried british gas siteagain this morning and this came up
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, with a box to check to send error report
Will try Tel Number after 8am

Phone BG about 30mins ago, everything now sorted out. They were really helpful.

That sounds more like a problem on your PC. Might be worth posting on the techie board if you can't resolve it.
