RAC Breakdown Cover?
Hi all,
I'm currently looking for the best value RAC Breakdown Cover for a single person, although if it includes free joint cover, that's a bonus.
Last time I got 15 months for the price of 12 plus free joint cover for £94. I had to ask for the old type of cover rather than their newer Solutions cover, but I got Roadside, Relay & At Home, so that pretty much covers the requirement.
Roadside, Relay & At Home are essential but not Europe or Onward Travel.
Does anyone know of any deals at the moment?
Thanx
AMO

Hello AMO
Have you read the article by MSE Martin?
Breakdown Cover
I'll move your thread to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Hi Nile.
Thanks. Yes, I've read it, but its not the kind of thing my friend is into.
Thanx

"Norwich Union Direct Rescue/recovery/at home and onward travel" is £54 for a vehicle based policy which means it's covered no matter who is driving it.

Or it may work out slightly cheaper using Green Flag less £20 quidco.
Or Tesco clucbard vouchers for RAC, of course.0 -
Just remembered, I'd posted a code that gives free "At Home" with the RAC so it's possible you could go via Tesco Clubcard, get the package without "At Home", then phone RAC and get it upgraded. Click Here to see the upgrade code.
All depends on whether you want joint cover or vehicle based.
Personally I'd go with NU and use m'clubcard deals vouchers for a track day experience... but the choice, is yours
