I must admit, this challenge is helping immensely. What I've started doing is planning the days when I spend so if I see something, I have to wait a day or two until it's a spend day. This has helped me so much because the impulsive spends have been zero!0 -

Wednesday (14th) was NSD 2/10. Can I count yesterday? I did all food shopping on Friday and took out £30 for DS's driving lesson on Sat. Unfortunately the driving lesson was £56 rather than the £30 I had allowed so glad to get the remaining balance out yesterday. Frustrating when I had planned my spending to try and get a NSD in on Saturday.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

The other way to do it it is to exclude your DS’s driving lessons from your counted spends.
ie I exclude my yoga and my physio as for me they are planned & budgeted spends.
Dident realise that driving lessons had gone up so much.
Mind you it is nearly 10 years since my DS learnt.

hey beannie, thanks for the shoutout. Been a bit quiet lately due to issues with ID fraudHow is it going little_green?
it's such a stress i've had letters through from debt collection agency as this person is accruing debt in my name. It's all very scared & frustrating. The worst part is that no one seems willing to help. I went to the police and they said it wasnt a crime (not convinced). I just feel so helpless. I want to stop this have no idea how & as i say it's all falling on deaf ears.
I've managed 7 NSD's so far this month.0 -
