I Just logged in to Netflix tonight and find that they've removed the UHD from my account and also they seem to have dropped the number of simultaneous connections.
They are now charging an extra £3 per month for UHD and 4 simultaneous connections.
Is this legal to do to an existing account?

Absolutely legal. It's not an ongoing contract, after all, it's on a rolling monthly basis. Therefore the terms can be changed any time and if you don't like it you can cancel. I had the HD option with 2 devices until they upped the price recently, and I decided to go back to the basic package with SD quality and 1 device at a time only. This is perfectly normal with a service like Netflix.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0

If you paid for 12 months up front for Netflix to provide you with a UHD quality stream and they yanked that then yes you would have cause to complain.
But as it stands - no.0 -
I thought that probably would be the case. Thanks for the responses.0

Just checked, mine hasn't changed. £9.99 UHD, 4 x devices.
Unless you were paying less before?0
