Afternoon all!
I was dealing with Moorcroft Debt Recovery regarding an old loan from Wage Day Advance taken in 2015 - I recieved post this week the MDR have sent this back to the lender - I went to the lender's website and they themselves are in administration - what steps do I take next?
It doesn't seem to be clear who now owns the assets or if I would continue to be pursued for the debt itself?
Many thanks all!
Jack

What do you mean when you "I was dealing with MDR regarding an old loan"?
Were you on some kind of payment plan with them?
Have you tried to contact Shelby Finance Limited?

Yeh, I was on a payment plan with them and had been for about 12 months.
Then got the letter informing that it had been sent back to the company itself.
I'll try Shelby Finance Limited.Working towards becoming debt free

Moorcroft only manage accounts OP, so once the situation at wagedayavance is sorted out, its likley their loan books will be sold, and you will be contacted by the new owner.
Till then, i really wouldnt bother doing anything to be honest, if they are in administration, this is likley to be the answer they will give you anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
