No but you can call the LMS Solicitor search company. They are free and find the cheapest solicitor for you in your area.

I don't know anything about this particualr firm that was recommended. Their website seems reasonable and if they are recommended for good service by a poster on the forum that says a lot.
Better to get recommendation from local firms than to go to some distant firm from the internet who appears cheap but adds on all kinds of extra to bump up an apparently low estimate.
The latest scam I 've seen is a separate fee for arranging searches and interpreting their results. Isn't that part of the conveyancing work we do?RICHARD WEBSTER
