Has your girlfriend got mobile phone insurance?
  • What advice are you hoping for?

Do you think think the phone was inherently faulty?
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

  • sadly we don’t do you get 24 months warranty with a phone, because she is still under contract

Depends on the terms of the contract. What does it say?

  • Yes it’s been playing up been freezing and turning it self off, and when turned back on it’s on double the battery. Then will drop to like 5 percent, will Carphone warehouse repair it or will they charge me

Hoping the link works. Check with Apple as regards to warranty situation. Doubt though that the warranty would be any more than a year.

Depends. If it covered by a warranty they might fix it if not they may charge you.

I think if you buy from Apple the warranty is longer than if you buy from a third party e.g. Carphonewarehouse.

Sounds like a dodgy battery, which I think most people would reasonably expect to last longer than 20 months.
You bought the phone from Carphone Warehouse, so they are responsible for helping you. This should be repaired/replaced free of charge in my opinion, as long as the phone hasn't been abused.

Do a search with her model and battery I know some iPhones had a battery issue. I would say it could be the motherboard which is what they are talking about and if that is the case then it is more expensive to repair than replace usually. If you want me to help look into it pm me or get your oh to. My auntys phone was doing that recently and it was the motherboard. She has a iPhone 5s x
