Hi all,
Sorry for posting just looking for a bit of advice. Came home today to a PCN through the post.
The charge is from NCP. Driver went into a car park on a bank holiday Monday, and the nearest machine was out of order. Somebody nearby said it was free as it was a bank holiday. Now there's a car park adjacent to this one that it is the case for, however not for the one parked in. Driver was only in a shop for 13 minutes, and an ANPR camera has caught them driving in and out within 13 minutes.
Now this offence took place on 27/5. The letter received today is a final reminder. With it being over 2 months ago I was going to appeal arguing the lack of any previous correspondence. Having looked back through some unopened post (appeared exactly like a bank statement) low and behold we've come across the NTK. The NTK is dated 26/6, 30 days after the offence.
Am I better off appealing acknowledging the NTK being out of date now I've come across it?
Also is it worth using the bank holiday, adjacent car park being free and out of order machine at all in the appeal, or just better to stick to the late NTK?
Thanks in advance for any help

yes
appeal as keeper
use the blue text template and add a paragraph that they failed POFA2012 due to the NTK arriving some xx days after the event, so cancel this charge
no talking about what happens on bank holidays in other car parks, its irrelevant0 -
Many thanks. Much appreciated.
Any chance this appeal gets accepted or do they normally just reject it?0 -
Rejection is the norm for most PPC,s
It is thought that they rarely read them0
