American Express

Over the years my wife has made several successful PPI claims. Throughout this time she has often mentioned an American Express account she had but we have never been able to find any paperwork relating to it.

Very recently we have found her old American Express card. All it shows is the 15 digit account number, an 'active thru' date of 09.10 and her name.

Bearing in mind she is not sure she had PPI (but believes she did) is there any mileage in trying to claim or do we have insufficient information to be taken seriously?

Advice very welcome. Thank you.

Obviously, you'd need to check if she had a PPI policy. I can't see the paperwork from here, so it's difficult to advise.
