Halifax mortgage - application to offer.

Myself and my partner applied for a mortgage yesterday evening (Tuesday) with Halifax.
I am just wondering what people’s experiences were with how long it took from application to mortgage offer. The wait is going to make me so anxious 😬

Doing a search on here you'll see it's entirely circumstantial.
Could be days, could be weeks.0 -
From recent experience (twice, as we had one purchase fall through),
- valuation 1 week after application, offer 2 days after valuation
- desktop valuation (instant), offer 2 days after application

They were very quick for us as well. The only delay was in how quickly you could get a valuation appointment. I think valuation happened about 10 days after the application and the broker got the offer the day after vluation. Could be the same/slower if going direct, can't see it being any faster!0

For us, It was 7 working days from application to offer. We had our documents with us through post on 8th working day.0

We had ours through from Halifax 14 days after we had the offer accepted
