Capital one ppi verification call

Hi
I submitted a Ppi claim through Resolver just over a week ago.
I have just had a call from Capital One to verify the details in the complaint form. Is thst their normal process?
The guy i spoke to asked me employment dates and salary detailsfrom when the ppi was taken out. I told him i couldnt remember the salary and he said a rough amount would do, again is this the normal process?? Im worried now that my guesstimates will be totally wrong!
Thanks all :)
Eta: it was taken out in 2002

  • Its totally normal. It should be expected that any company will always fully investigate a complaint before making a decision. If you remember valid reasons for making a complaint, then also expect to be asked for your recollections of other relevant information.
I work in Data Protection and spend my days dealing with CMC's. Only here trying to help!!
