So it turns out Excel parking services had not renewed the lease on the Brewery street car park, Chesterfield when they issued me my ticket. The lease expired in 2014 and was renewed in 2017. The ticket was issued in 2015.

So a nice little earner that for them, setting up a car park on land they don't lease and fining people for parking there. Might as well have set up a car park in a random field and fined people who parked there.

Needless to say i think that no contract existed between us as they had no claim to the car park land.
So thats going in my defense.

Anyone have any ideas what i can counter claim off them??? because i want as much off them as possible for all the hassle they have caused me.

I would also ask Trading Standards to investigate.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

As it's a county court, counterclaims must be reasonable and things like stress etc must be proven

As EXCEL has been operating without a contract and charging motorists the tickets would be illegal.

At the same time of getting EXCEL being whooped by a judge, I would involve your local media because many people will be due a refund from EXCEL
