Pick up at Luton Airport

Last night, I did a pick up at Luton airport and stopped at the side of the road as I'd already been in the mid term car park and couldnt go back in. Stopped for the whole minute as you do - are fines still being dished out for this as I cant see many new threads here? Ive downloaded the various letters ready but wondered if should expect a present in the post soon!

There are no fines but there are PCNs issued by private parking companies, (aka scammers). These are only valid if a judge says so. Even then they are not enforceable, (but if ignored could result in a CCJ which could affect your ability to obtain credit, and seizure of goods and chattels).
The internet is full of these so called Fines at Luton Airport, read a few as nine times out of ten they are a scam.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

I wonder how they can enforce this? Is this an offence under bye-laws, a civil claim for BOC under POFA, or reasonable assumption that driver is RK?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

No letters involved.
APCOA ones are easy to appeal & win online as long as no appeal blabs about who was driving, hence the template in the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
