Is anyone aware of an insurance company, other than ZugarZnap, who offer multi gadget cover without the need to itemise all the gadgets?
Thanks

Do you have a home you need to insure.
Superior house insurance (like axa advanced) has a single item limit of £15k0 -
Hi lisyloo,
I do have some cover on our household policy, but there is a £250 excess for loss/damage away from the home and breakdown of the gadgets is not covered.0 -
Cheaper to upgrade the home insurance rather than take additional policies?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Hi lisyloo,
I do have some cover on our household policy, but there is a £250 excess for loss/damage away from the home and breakdown of the gadgets is not covered.
You need to upgrade your insurance if you want a higher single item limit.
An excess is quite normal and you’ll have to pay more if you want a small excess which is somewhat counter-productive.
Insurance doesn’t normally cover your gadgets breaking down due to age. It covers risks like theft, loss, damage.0 -
Unsure if this is what your after.
I have had in place for a few years now Barclays Mobile Phone & gadget cover.

LSG site

Cover has just recently gone up from £12.50 to £14.50 a month. I have had to make 2 claims, 1 for my phone and one for my sons nintendo switch.
The mobile was a registered device, but when the switch got broken, it wasn't registered, but after a quick call and proof of purchase it was sorted within a few days.
From the site:
"Get cover for unlimited gadgets and up to 4 mobile phones for just £14.50 a month."
"Don’t forget that your devices are automatically covered but registering the details in advance can help to make things easier should you ever need to log a claim."0 -
Thanks mluton,
That's exactly what I am looking for
I got a quote through TSB as I bank with them and it works out at about 1/3 cheaper than ZugarZnap for suitable cover, and with a lower excess.
I'll check again when the policy is due for renewal in a few months time and if the price differential is the same, i'll switch.
Thanks again.
@ lisyloo :
For info, these policies do cover breakdown outside of the manufacturer's standard warranty so long as the gadget is less than a certain age. With ZugarZnap, the devices have to be less than 3 years old on the date the policy is taken out/renewed. As most devices only have a 1 year warranty (or perhaps 2 if purchased through say John Lewis), then it is worth considering.0
