Card protection payment CPP

Hi all
I know this is a CPP enquiry and not PPI but I feel I may have missed out on CPP claims - is it too late to submit a claim of being missold CPP with my Bank?

The CPP refund scheme closed five years ago. While it's still technically possible to complain to the Bank about periods the scheme did not cover ( ie pre 2005), any such complaint would very likely be time-barred.

How did people know about CCP? There wasn't any kind of public information campaign like PPI (that I am aware of). Did they just assume people would check boards like this? (Genuine question )

Certainly I have just found out by looking on here in relation to PPI, and obviously I'm not the only one.

Don't know about the Soviet Union, but everyone with CPP was written to directly.

:rotfl: good point - CPP was what I meant.

I definitely had CPP, as did my husband - I have the paperwork in front of me - but neither of us were aware of any miss-selling issue or time limit. However, thinking about it, I'm not sure we updated them when we moved house So that is probably it.
