Was sectioned for 3.5yrs with Paranoid Schizophrenia, been out for 2.5 years now and hoping to get a little bit of work, about 8hrs per week.
I currently receive ESA Support & DLA/PIP
If i do start work, do i have to declare it to DWP & can this affect my benefits ?
Thanks:beer:

You can do permitted work but you'll need to tell them you're doing this and you need to fill out the PW1 form. You can work up to 15.59 hours per week and earn no more than £131.50 after deductions. Was sectioned for 3.5yrs with Paranoid Schizophrenia, been out for 2.5 years now and hoping to get a little bit of work, about 8hrs per week.

Do be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons for your ESA claim then it can go against you the next time you're re-assessed. It may also prompt a re-assessment earlier.0 -
