Morning! Sunny here after yesterday's rain. Chores today involve taking shirts to the ironing place and then general looking after duties.
Father not getting better, in fact, getting worse. No energy and not able to walk very well.
District nurse has been this morning but he wasn't up to see her so she'll call later on. Sister has gone to work.
I'll be looking online for presents for Christmas on Saturday and OH is coming down later on.

Gers, good news about the respite if it happens, how nice of her to think of that. Happy
SO, have you had a browser update? Whatever browser you're using, try clearing the cache and cookies first before anything more drastic. You search Google for your browser name plus clear cache and you should find a simple one on the first page of results. If you tell me what browser it is I'll have a look for you.
Best wishes and waves to everyone.

Taff - sorry to read about your Father. Xx

I've got to register with Social Work dept first, I've been emailed the form so will post it off tomorrow. Respite might take a while to organise for the first time, I can wait.

The roller blind engineer has been so I've ended up ordering a new blind along with the remote unit. This blind is about 25 years old at least, I've always hated the colour and it's pretty ropey. In for a penny...

There's a pot of vegetable soup on the go. I dug out the bendy carrots, sprouting leeks and tatty turnip to use up. Chopping is slightly soothing, it's the peeling I get bored with.

DM is snoozing, she found all the activity very tiring yesterday. My eyes would like to close too though I'm resisting.

Camelot sent me a text to say she was boarding the flight home from Sydney. She promised to bring some sunshine back. :j
