Hello,

My PIP award is from 2016 to 21st Feb 2020. I haven’t received my renewal form yet. In February this year I received a yearly review letter saying nothing had changed but nothing else was sent. It says on my award letter I will get contacted after 21st Feb 2019, but no letter has been sent by DWP.

Are they behind, do I contact them? Bit worried

  • I would wait and see, they don't always send out forms a year in advance and sometimes they do a review without even contacting you.

There's a lot of people saying he the reviews have now changed to 6 months before rather than 1 year before. There's no confirmation of any of this on the internet but as you haven't been sent a renewal form yet then i'd say that it's 6 months.
  • Thank you both for getting back I didn’t realise they may have changed it to 6 months. I had a horrendous time in 2016 had to go to MR and was awarded. Even though my condition has got worse.
