Primark - ? Taking money twice off Credit Card
[Deleted User]

On Sunday I went to Primark and spent over £100 using my credit card. It is showing on credit card twice, once as a normal transaction, once as a pending transaction. So in effect my balance is down £200. This is still so today Tuesday. Not an online purchase, I went to Primark itself.
Does anyone else have experience of this?

It HAS come off my 'available balance' twice. Pending items do. So could cause problems.
No more card use in Primark if I go at all.0 -
If it is likely to cause you problems, just ring your card company and ask them if they'll increase your credit limit by £100.deannatrois wrote: »It HAS come off my 'available balance' twice. Pending items do. So could cause problems.

As for boycotting them, I'm sure Primark won't miss you.0 -
Well you could just call them as they will have a record of it and will refund you if you have been charged twice0

It happened to me in the Asda a few months back when the reader messed up. It will be back in a few days time but could happen at any shop or probably online.0
