NPower - early exit fees - when shouldnt
Options
As I do every year, I comparatively check my Gas & Electricity Provider. I was with NPower, exclusive fix August and 10th July switched saving nearly £568 a year. I received my final bill and had been charged 2 x £35 early exit fees??! One for my Gas and one for my electricity. I am disabled with my mental health and my partner seriously with a brain injury. Thank god I checked my final bill properly as on 13th August it would have left my bank my direct debit. I am appalled and whilst I got an apology and a new revised bill on the way out to me, how many other people have not noticed? I’ve paid £147 a month whilst on a low income and a difficult life and I’m so glad I noticed :-(

You should thank Npower for being nice and refunding the money that they did not have to etc . As it seems obvious that it was your mistake in switching to early.
And your savings estimate seems very high? perhaps you need to do your sums again? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0
