Just wondering if anyone has any information/advice as to what happens after an IVA? What will my credit score look like, how can I get it back up, etc?

It will drop off your file after 6 years from the date it started.

If you've just finished the IVA you've already done 5 years so next year it'll disappear.

    Hi,

Was it a 5 year, or 6 year IVA ?

The score is irelivant, its used as a marketing tool, thats all, its your credit history that is important, i would assume all the defaults from your debts will have, or soon will have, dropped off your file, then its a case of not getting into debt again.

After a while, maybe apply for a credit building credit card, and just use it for normal expenditure, make sure you repay the balance in full each month, that will help build your credit history.
