Everyone is asked to read up on this in the newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread
Go there now to learn about the game you are now caught up in and how to deal with this
Too late now but ignoring was a bad decision
You now do ignore debt collectors (all explained in post #4 in the FAQ)
Ignore everything except a lbcca or court correspondence
If it comes to that then come back to the FAQ at that time for advice on how to deal with it
They have 6 years to start legal proceedings against you
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor this forum and can use posts in your thread against you in Court0 -
I don't want anything going against me!
They can take you to court if you continue to ignore. You have several choices
Pay (not advised)
Fight
Ignore (not advised)
name your partner
have you read the stickies/FAQs?
Also, as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Unless you are in Scotland, where you can currently still ignore, then follow all the good advice given above.
And it is not a fine.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
Name the Parking company so we can advise you better, plus the country you live in too0
-
BTW, it is not a fine, it is an invoice from a thoroughly disreputable company claiming damages for the harm you did them when you did what you did. You owe them nothing unless a judge says so .You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
