It won't be "rejected" again, they will simply refuse to reopen the case. A subtle but important difference, as the latter will not allow new access to the Ombudsman while the former would.. You are out of date to complain now and if you complain again without new evidence they will reject again.
I agree such a recent complaint will already have had Plevin commission taken into consideration. You can ask them to consider Plevin if it applied but they have probably already considered that.0 -
Oh well, it was worth another go I suppose. At least now when they call I won't make a fool of myself by misquoting out of date advice.
Wasn't in a good place when the original complaint when in to the point I'd forgotten I'd even started it. Was caught of guard but, hey ho. I'll just have to put up with it.0 -
Don't be too despondent, even if you hadn't complained before, it's unlikely the result would have been any different if you were complaining for the first time today. In order to be refunded, you need to have actually been mis-sold and by no means everyone was.Wasn't in a good place when the original complaint when in to the point I'd forgotten I'd even started it. The PPI mis-selling scandal was that huge swathes of people were mis-sold the insurance, particularly those who could never have claimed on the insurance. It doesn't sound as if you were one of those.0
