Capital Home Loans PPI?

Options
I had a mortgage starting in 1994/5 on a part ownership. The lender was arranged for me. I believe they were Capital Home Loans. I have a memory of being encouraged to take out insurance, as we were asking for quite a big multiple. I sold that house in 2000 and have lost the paperwork somewhere along the way. Capital Home Loans no longer exist. Any ideas if someone else is now picking up their old issues post mergers etc.?

It's ten years prior to regulation and likely sold by a broker, so you might as well forget about this one.

That would make it sound more like MIG than PPI.
