    I am interested in a maisonette. Estate agent told me there is no service how will this work with future repairs. Ground rent £20 a year. The lease is short 81 yrs. can anybody offer some advice pl? Thanks

    They confirmed there was no service charge but ground rent which wasn't much. In my case the lease is 125 yrs.

    I would very much doubt there would be no service charge on a leasehold property. This would be extremely poor on the Council’s part.
