    Hi there,

    May i ask you where did you appeal you parking ticket penalty after 28 days?

    Please help me!

    I was issued ticket 4 month after parking event and due to heavy work load forgot to appeal. 28 days had pass now, is there anywhere i can turn to appeal this?

    I would imagine they appealed to Metropark as that's who issued the ticket.
  • They have now sent me a debt collector's letter for £160 up from £100.
    Will this amount just keep getting bigger?

    In legal terms that's what's known as an abuse of process. There is lots about it on here.

    In simple terms it's not allowed. If it was what's to stop them adding a zillion pounds?
  • Waamo - only if they actually file a claim for that amount, knowing it is not an amount they are entitled to or an amount of damages incurred.

    Until then there is NO process for them to abuse.
