Possible pests?

Just been awake for last two hours. Heard some thing moving above ceiling. Had heard it a few weeks ago but nothing since till tonight. Is it likely I have mice/rats? Went up a few weeks ago and all I could see was grain like stuff but it wasn't dark like mice/rat poo is supposed to be. Should I get pest control out or wait till I hear it again?

It could be squirrels or bats anything really. Pest control is the way to go0
