HeLp need a cheap holiday package deal somewhere hot with a beach, looking to fly from birmingham 25th june 2005 for 7 nights

never been holiday before can someone help me even a last minute deal will do,dont mind self catering, accomodation reasonable

how do u know if there is a beach near the hotel what do i need to look out for, just browsing the teletext holiday website there are pretty good prices on there but i dont know what to look for?????????????????????

You can search price/location/airport/destination, with just a few cliks.

Then, on each of the pages that come up, within your selection, they have a box with quite usefull info,about the location, too.

THEN, if you like what you find, you can re'search, for maybe better prices, in other sites.

Although, I'm a fan of Thomas Cook, personaly - 'cos their credit card avoids 'booking fees' & earns best discount, on holidays, via points - but thats for another post!!

I find the best sites to search for holidays is either:

You can compare prices of all operators and they are normally up to date.

However once you've found the holiday you want, find a firm that'll give you free insurance or a further discount by looking on teletext.

I've been going on last minute holidays for quite a few years. For the date you want to go (not in school holidays), as long as you're pretty flexible as to where you go, I'd be inclined to wait until a week or so before and you may get an even better deal than those in the above post.

Personally I wouldn't recomment Costa Brava. Costa del Sol, any of the Balearic island or definitely the Canaries are much nicer.

At this time of year you'll definitely get somewhere

Ice lolly advertise them prices but you try and get one most of the time theres £40-50 min added to them.I have tried on numerous occassions and never been able to get a holiday at the price they advertise.
