Yes, but it does depend on the severityof the job, and with so many landlocked homes, now many have done away with back alleys, the prospect of an inexperienced operator driving one through the hallway doesn't bear thinking about!There are mini excavators that will fit through a standard doorway - https://www.jewson.co.uk/tool-hire/earth-moving/excavators/products/6708/microlite-excavator/ - Agreed, not particularly cheap to hire, but you can get a lot done in a day, so it depends on what value you place on your own time.0
