  • is this right?

.. apart from it looking like your plan is to sit at home all day - nothing for entertainment / holidays?

But it looks as though you have a fair bit of leeway

So, good time to get cracking building up the emergency fund.and then sort out your pensions...

Congratulations on becoming a home owner - an exciting yet scary time as you are finding out!

As your original post was to ask for help with setting up bills and making sure you hadn’t missed anything you needed to be paying for, you seem to have it covered by completing the SOA. We don’t need to know what you do with the rest of your money but well done for coming onto this site as you will find loads of help, ideas, suggestions etc, such as setting up some savings for doing up the house (you said it’s not been lived in for a few years). You may find that you need to install a heating system or rewire for example. But these are all scary things at the moment and you seem to be sensible and level headed and will surely do well.

    Good Luck and enjoy!

Oh yes, don’t forget the holiday fund, emergency fund and pension!!

We work 12hrs a day during the week and do half days most Saturdays so to be honest other than going on my xbox I don't really do much on a Sunday I'm too tired.

I figured I would just put everything I had to pay for in the form and if I had anything left that could go to the fun things.

It has been a bit of an eye opener the last week day 4 of moving in the toilet broke and I had to get a plumber out so an emergency fund sounds like a good idea. How much should I put in it?

I save for a pension through my work I pay in £20 a week and my job matches it so I thought I had that covered. I could be wrong tho but I'm 18 so have got a long time till that day comes.
