Appeal Letter Template

Hi all,

Recently I have been rejected from a couple of CC companies (and Lloyds TSB current account), but I think I have a chance to appeal against their decision.

So I created this template -

Dear Sir/Madam,

I received a letter from you recently informing me that my application for the AAAAAAA is not successful, which I believe is a genuine mistake.

I have a good credit score, I am on a stable income, and I never take any loan which I cannot afford to pay back.

I would really love to be able to use the AAAAAAA account. Would you please reconsider my application. Your help is much appreciated.

If further information is required, please do not hesitate to contact me on 01111 111111.

You could supply them with extra information that they are unaware of, for example a statement showing your balance if you have a lot of savings.

However if more than one company has rejected you it is important to understand why. e.g. you do not have the good credit score you think you have or the level of your existing debt is too high in relation to your income.
