Hi forumites!
I've been putting this off for so long as I am just plain scared of opening this can of worms.
I had about a dozen credit cards back in 2007, and although I usually am quite good at reading the small print, I can't be sure I ticked all the right boxes to reject PPI. Due to house moves, work moves and changes in technology I have lost my records, and can barely remember two of the cards I had (Egg and Marbles).
Can anyone advise me: is it worth starting this, or is the lack of memory and records plus the 10+ elapsed years too much of an obstacle?
Any pointers on how to go about it would be very much appreciated!

Use these links to contact them to ask if you had PPI. DO NOT use any other links from a search engine, these are the genuine ones to use. For other cards Google the name of the issuer followed by "PPI" but only use links which are provided by the FCA.
A simple email will work for most cards, you might have to fill in forms for others but it's not difficult.0
