Just a quickie.
I understand that a PPC can obtain RK details from DVLA under POFA .
What I am struggling with is under what legal permissions is the PPC able to pass on those details to debt collecting agencies or solicitors .
If the RK makes a SAR request the PPC's are reluctant to process the request and demand a variety of ID, yet they are as quick as anything to pass on RK details to any company if it so desires them.
Does this breach GDPR regs.

No.
They can sub-contract out debt collection to another company and of course for this to work the debt collector needs to know who to collect the debt from.
Any further questions about your issue should be on your existing thread.0 -
If the PPC did not meet the statutory requirements under POFA to seek RK details from DVLA , e.g. not relevant land and despite being aware of this continued to process RK details would this constitute any breach of data misuse.0

it could do , if the DVLA agree and it can be proven, in which case you can refer it to the ICO and then bring your own court case if they find in your favour0

Please re-read the last sentence of my earlier post.0

Thanks this started out as a a separate issue entirely different matter (another PCN!!!) and was not connected to my previous thread but I hold my hands up in shame , it did become connected.
